Allergens in the form of dust can be a large problem in many Winnipeg homes. Use A Vacuum with a Hepa Filter - this traps more dust as opposed to just kicking it back into the environment. Clean it regularly as directed and replace as directed – usually annually.
Change your Furnace Filter Monthly- keeping a fresh furnace filter in your furnace will trap a great deal of airborne dust, preventing it from being recirculated by the furnace fan.
Launder Your Sheets Weekly – this should be done in hot water to kill the majority of dust mites. Cold and warm water cycles are not sufficient for this purpose. I use Norwex Ultra Power Plus detergent, the magnet ball to stretch my detergent, and the dryer balls to do all my family’s laundry.
Dust Regularly – Dust your furniture and other surfaces regularly. Use the microfiber mit or an enviro cloth (dry) to trap dust effectively. Regular cloths simply move dust around and stir it up into the air making allergies worse.
